Sports and Recreation Ministry of
First Baptist Simpsonville

If you are an observer of sports at all, you know there are few better mission fields than the basketball court, golf course, softball field, and any other field of play.  FBC Simpsonville exists to love and follow Jesus fully so that others are drawn to Him.  A great way to accomplish that mission is by ministering through an actibity that you already love to do!  There are several opportunities like that at First Baptist.  Click through these additional pages to see how God can use you through something you already love to do.

Upward Sports
Upward offers Soccer, Basketball (with cheerleading), and Flag Football (with cheerleading).  No matter the season, you will find a sport for your child that offers equal playing time, skill development, a positive atmosphere, and an opportunity for all to hear the message of the Gospel. 

Events
Throughout the year, several events take place at and through First Baptist.  As you build relationships with friends, neighbors, and coworkers these events are designed to give you an "easy ask" and invite them into the presence of Christ - "build and bring!"

League Play
Maybe the glory days are over, but the desire to play is still there.  Basketball and softball leagues for adults are available for fellowship, exercise, and inviting friends to play.
