Our next Reasons to Believe Presentation will be Monday, June 16, at 7pm in the Choir Room at the Downtown Simpsonville Campus.

This presentation will discuss the trustworthiness of God's created order and how He fine-tuned creation for our benefit.

The talk will discuss scientific discoveries proving the Bible's authenticity.

A good example is the dating of the Dead Sea Scrolls (BC) which have the full book of Isaiah, validating the Old Testament and the prophecies of Christ.

Another is the recent discovery of Hezekiah's tunnel, again validating the Biblical date of Hezekiah.

This presentation should help you answer questions, such as these:

  • Where did this radioactive stuff come from?
  • What are the general principles of radioactive decay?
  • How is radioactive decay used to determine age?
  • What is carbon dating and how is that used to determine the age of organic material?
  • How is carbon dating used to validate Biblical archaeological finds such as the "Dead Sea Scrolls" and "Hezekiah's Tunnel?"
  • What are the young earth challenges to radiometric dating?

Everyone is welcome, so bring a friend!

We look forward to seeing you!

Important Note: This will be our last presentation for the Summer. We are taking a break for the months of July and August. Presentations will resume in September.
