Our next Reasons to Believe presentation will be Defending the Christian Worldview in a World of Religious Pluralism.

It will be Monday, April 21, from 7:00-8:30pm in the Choir Room, in the same building as the Worship Center, at our Downtown Campus.

Our presenter will be Ariel Jacala.

His presentation will give a synopsis of world religions and various belief systems. It will help the believer to defend the Christian faith by providing guidelines for engaging others and sharing the claims of Christ, His deity and exclusivity.

The presentation will contrast the Christian worldview vs. world religions from several angles, with the goal of equipping attendees with discussion points on such topics as human originas, cosmology, and how to use rules of logic.

Topics covered include the following:

  • The rules of engagement: logic and the rule of non-contradiction
  • The world religions- synopsis of the various belief systems
  • The claims of Christ- exclusivity, deity
  • Human origins- Christian worldview vs. world religions
  • Cosmology- Christian worldview vs. world religions

Don't forget to invite a friend or co-worker!
