WMU Involvement Opportunities

Annie Rine Group

Age:

60's+, always seeking new members

Focus:

We are very active in local and international missions, including the English as a Second Language class. We also enjoy a monthly study at our meeting.


Moorhead Group

Facilitator:

Wednesdays after 2nd Sunday at 10:00am in the Hospitality Room (old school building, behind the Media Center)

Age:

All ages

Focus:

Serving the homebound. We welcome all who have a heart for home visitation.


Pam Bayne Group

Thursday after 2nd Sunday at 7:00pm in the church Parlor.

Age:

30's - 50's, always seeking new members

Focus:

We emphasize mission education and participate in Operation Christmas Child; assemble care kits for mission trips; and support the annual mission offerings.


Patterson Group

60's+, always seeking new members

Focus:

We have an active ministry within our church, reaching out as needs arise. We also maintain on-going contact with missionaries who are linked with our church. We enjoy Bible studies at our monthly meetings.


Runyan Group

Age:

60's+

Focus:

Prayer and contributions for local and international missions. We also enjoy monthly Bible studies or studies from "Mosiac" magazine.


Willie Mae Berry Group

2nd Monday at 7:00pm in selected homes or church Parlor.

Age:

50's - 70's

Focus:

Members encourage each other in authentic relationships that lead to a deeper level of involvement in missions ministry, witnessing, giving, and prayer.


Mission Friends

Mission Friends is for girls and boys ages 3 -5. They meet every Wednesday night from 6:45 to 7:30. They study about missions and have mission related activities.

Girls in Action

GA's meet every Wednesday night from 6:45 - 7:30. Girls study about missions in South Carolina, the United States, and foreign countries. They participate in mission projects.
